English Castles, Medieval Festivals and Living Museums

Across England, as with most of Europe, there are castles in just about every city and town dating from Roman times, like Colchester castle,  to the 19th Century Victorian follies and modern castle such as at Legoland.  Some castles are in disrepair while others have fully restored to their former glory.  A number of these castles in England, France across Europe regularly host medieval festivals and events and some, like Mountfitchet castle, are permanent living museums with live animals of the period roaming the grounds.

I'm excited to be finally posting online after all these years. There really is no mystique (sp) about it, is there? I just dropped by your blog and had to write something. I'm a recent college grad, journalism major if you must know, and I absolutely love photography. I've got my website up but it's nothing to brag about yet. None of my stuff's been posted. Soon as I figure out how to do that, I'll spend the day posting my best shots. anyways just thought I'd drop a line. I hope to return with more substantial stuff, stuff you can actually use. SPG
